My book recommendation for December is Loren Cunningham’s book – Daring to Live on the Edge. It’s a book all about faith and finances – but so much more!

Loren is the founder of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and this book’s stories are a continuation of some of the miracles YWAM has seen God do in the earlier years of the mission.

Friends recommended we read it as a group together as we wanted to be challenged in our faith as we prayed for a breakthrough in our ministry. I wanted to remember the basics about faith and finances in my own life and of some great stories of others who’ve seen God provide in miraculous ways.

So it wasn’t a surprise when I realised 1/4 way through reading this book that I was going through a massive faith step in moving countries to continue God’s call in my life.

I know this won’t be the same outcome for other readers, but be warned – when we pray to ask God to move and make ourselves available for God to move through us – He will answer that prayer!
